I had actually bought this dress back when the whole high-low skirts were emerging as a trend

(which really wasn't too long ago)

Other than those of you who recognise this dress, you would never have guessed what I bought this dress for.

Formal. That's right.

For all the high school girls out there now looking for formal dresses coming up in a few months, the best savvy advice I'd give is to buy a dress that you could easily dress up or down. (That is, for those who plan to keep it by the end of the night, of course)

Originally, I'd went out combing through stores specifically for any red maxis that I could find. And trust me, I had gone to a fair few stores, but nothing really stood out for me. Mostly because, I had set my goals for a dress that I can wear it again without it being obvious.

So, this time, I pulled it out of the closet and themed it with a very basic black crop tee over the gold-zipped bustier and also (in this case) no jewellery at all.

(Also, don't ask why I chose to do an underground shoot with this outfit)
